➡️ Read the description in English A real Haarlem snack board; a unique souvenir from Haarlem. The design is hand-drawn by illustrator Renske Horn. This building has a long history. The building was constructed at the beginning of the 17th century and served - as the name suggests - as a municipal market hall for butchers and meat cutters. The sturdy serving board measures 20 x 15 cm or 30 x 20 cm and is a whopping 2 cm thick! This means an extra luxurious look and perfect as an original home gift. The drawing of the Vleeshal facade is carefully engraved in the bamboo wood using the latest laser technology. Bamboo is the most sustainable type of wood because it grows incredibly fast. Furthermore, it is ultra hygienic and knife-friendly. Besides being a unique souvenir, it is also an incredibly sustainable souvenir from Haarlem. All our typical Haarlem gifts are made locally and with lots of love. In our Haarlem souvenir shop, you will find only special Haarlem gifts. Perfect as a business gift or original souvenir from Haarlem.
